ABOUT ADF - WA

ADF – WA was formed in late 1997. It grew out of the Panic and Anxiety Disorder Foundation Association of Western Australia (PADAWA), a self- help group who have been active for some years in helping anxiety disorder sufferers cope with their disorders, and who offer education and support to sufferers.
From the 1st January 2003 PADAWA became ASHA, the Anxiety Self Help Association Inc.

MISSION STATEMENT

To represent the interests of people concerned in any way with anxiety disorders.

OBJECTIVES

1. Provide information to sufferers and their families about access to support and treatment centres.

2. Increase public awareness and facilitate education of health care professionals about anxiety disorders.

3. Foster research into anxiety disorders.
